I started Studio Scheme to offer a service to people who care about good design but don’t know where to start.
I'm Steph Cook, the founder of Studio Scheme.
I previously spent over a decade in brand and marketing roles in the beauty industry, including at Dove, Ralph Lauren, and Armani, long before I ever called myself a designer. But in every home I lived in, I was already doing this: choosing paint colours late into the night, hunting down exactly the right vintage find, slowly renovating room by room in whatever spare time I had.
A turning point in my personal life led to me retraining at the Inchbald School of Design and setting up Studio Scheme. Once I started talking with friends and clients about my business, I realised there were so many people who'd assumed interior design “wasn't for them." These were people who had good taste, the means, and a genuine interest in their homes, but had ruled out professional help because it felt intimidating, opaque, or simply not built with them in mind.
If you've got a room that isn't quite working yet, that's exactly where I come in.
Instead of full-service projects, with all the cost and time commitment, I offer two focused ways to get real expert direction for those who want help: one-to-one design consultations and curated room schemes you can execute yourself.
I work in person across London, the South East, and Norfolk, and otherwise remotely, with a style that's warm, layered, and a little bold I'd always rather help you fall in love with something that feels personal than settle for the safe option.
